Sock Summit →
I leave today—don’t worry, my house isn’t empty… Three classes, and hopefully three friends to see, plus Patti! Yay! I get to spend time off and on with a great gal pal. What do I hope to learn? How I’m going to use a lot of my sock yarn stash. Oh, there will be shopping.

Phrases not to use
“You know what your problem is?” Oooh… don’t start a sentence with this — that’ll shut my brain down right quick.
“I’m going to tell you something you don’t want to hear.” Hmmm — really? You might speak the words, but I doubt I’ll hear them, unless you craft your message in a craftier way.
